The mouse was great at first -- one does have to follow the directions included in the packaging

However, after less than six months of use (with a light touch and great care taken of it) the buttons stopped working. Having to replace it every few months is not my idea of value.

of 4 purchased for this office, 2 have died within 2 months. both have had the scroll wheel broken. if you don't use the "click" feature of the scroll wheel you shouldn't run into issues. if you do, avoid like the plague.

The receiver can clearly be seen madly blinking the blue dot of communication. The mouse can clearly be seen ignoring the desperate hails. This product truly blows. I guess the bewildered look on the RS clerk's face at the checkout counter should have told me something.

I just purchased this mouse earlier this afternoon, after losing the receiver to my old mouse (which I loved with all my being). Anyhow, I saw this on sale, so thought I would give it a go. I opened it up and put the batteries in.. absolutely zero response. The batteries were brand new, the mouse is brand new. There is zero reason as to why this product should not be working. I find it kind of fishy that they don't have a web site, either.

Definitely asking for my money back.

I bought this mouse just 4 days ago and already it's broken. While browsing the web, the scroll wheel just caved in suddenly, without me touching it. It usually had good tracking and has a VERY comfortable design for right handers, but it often would mess up and catch and become unresponsive. Taking it back as soon as I can.

This mouse should be pulled from shelves. It was working fine for the first day, then I started having problems with it not clicking when I needed it to. For a graphic designer that is very annoying to have to click 4 times to get it to respond. I also started having tracking problems. Yesterday it complelety just stopped working, with multiple sets of batteries. I took it back to radio shack and they gave me another of the same type, brought that back to my store and it was worthless from the beginning. I am taking this thing back as soon an employee gets here. Shame on RadioShack for this still being on the shelf.

Connected with a PowerMac G5 running 10.5.3 but had very jumpy tracking, and poor response to clicks. Ergonomically, it is nicely designed with good size and a pretty blue scroll wheel. However, this mouse is ready to be fed to the cat. Unusable and is going back tomorrow.

I use this mouse almost everyday and it is a real adventure to see if it will work without aggravation of trying to get the arrow on the computer to move. I would suggest not buying it unless you have a lot of time to spend trying to get it to work.

This wireless mouse worked great until a Vista update corrupted the drivers for it. Unfortunately RadioShack doesn't post downloadable drivers anywhere on their website (gigaware does not have a website of their own because they are a radioshack company), so now I am out the money I put into it. Definately get a logitech next time.

The people who rated this mouse 1 star are either very foolish or very unlucky. I have been using mine for around a year with no problems. i love the way it feels in m hand, and it has no lag at all. sure it stops working when the power goes out in the house, but that's easily fixed by unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in.

It started out OK but after a few weeks it gradually became less reliable and more annoying to use, causing the mouse point to hang or move slowly and jerkily. It also became extremely touchy about which surfaces it would work on; surfaces that once were acceptable suddenly weren't anymore. My PC's touch pad continued to work OK, so the problem was not the PC. This is the 2nd wireless mouse I've had fail after a short lifetime of gentle use, so I'm just sticking with the touchpad from now on.

the mouse does work but needs a fairly clear line of sight. it also seems pretty sensitive to interference. i have the receiver plugged into the back of the laptop so it is fairly close but i still get bad reception if i move it towards the front.

This is awful, I'm using it now. It stops working AS I'm USING IT. I realize the standby feature when leaving it, but I seems to lock up with very slow and intermittent response. I think it is interfering or conlicting with some other RF signal. I don't think it is a USB conflict. The receiver blinks as it recives data, and you can see the lost signals when it starts this problem. Whenit works, it wrks well, but 1/4 of the time it is in this problem mode, and it can me infuriating!

Works fine, easy to grip and handle, feels very confortable on right hand (there's no design for left hand). Under some circunstances, USB receiver conflicts with another device (such a pen drive), what causes some wrong response. The manual should cite about the stand-by feature, wich is disengaged pressing a button or usign the scroll button.

Anyway, for its price, is a great product.

This mouse works fine. I like the fact that it has a power button to save batteries. In reference to the last post, yes, the mouse doesn't work when you leave it behind a few minutes, this is because it goes into stand-by mode. When the mouse doesn't move all that simply has to be done is to click any of the buttons and the mouse will engage.

In order to use the mouse you must reload it every time you turn on your computer in order to get the mouse to work. It doesn't work at the start so you must work in your computer manually (with the tab and enter keys) in order to even start the mouse up. Worse product I've ever used. Never buy gigaware again!
