Had it for about 5 months. I did an update on it followed all the instructions, and after that it just would shut off at random times. Then it just died and the only thing that would come up it the mymusix thing. I even left it on for like 6 hours and came back it was still saying Mymusix. I sent it off to get it fixed. They said it was the USB circuit.But I know it wasn't because I had one of my tech friends check it out. when I got it back all the buttons where switched around like they didn't really care about it. They even said that my warranty void because of the circuit. Basically they don't care about there customers. I've had a sony cd player for about 5 to 6 years now and it still works even after I dropped it a million times. Basically don't buy this mp3 player go with some one else.

I bought the MP3 player a while ago. i thought it was great and it was great for a while. i used it to fall asleep, get through a bus ride to school, presentations at school, travel, football trips, and every other time i wanted it. It was a very cheap price to get it. but when i hooked it up to my cousins computer to charge it simply stopped working.

I bought mine for a long car trip. Worked great easy to set up. Controls are a little confusing. My biggest complaint is that when you are outside in sunlight the screen is impossible to read. I like not having to replace batteries but don't always have my computer available to charge. Overall a great product for the price.

Its not too bad of an MP3 player. It is vary fair for the price, has a good battery, and has a built in mic. The only draw back is it takes a while to select songs because you have to scroll with a couple buttons. This is worth the money for sure and I was very satisfied with it.

Bought this at radio shack to take to the gym with me (since my old mp3 player was a bit bulkier and was dying on me). So far, so good; sound is average, and it's only 1 gb, but I only needed to put 100 or so songs on there anyway. The 2 best parts IMO are: 1) plugs directly into the PC to charge (no need to replace batteries), and 2) also has an FM radio with decent reception. It also comes with an equalizer function, which is good since the default sound is poor (sound is acceptable after changing it to one of the prsets; no custom EQ available). Other competitor's models have added features, like a microsd card slot, etc., but for my uses, this has worked well. One thing I would have liked to see is a clock so I can see how long I've been running/working out.

We got 2 for our children 7 & 9 Yrs old. They love them. Easy for them to use on their own. Works great for all our traveling or at home. The ear plugs are the only thing that have trouble staying in their ears,just got different ones that work better for them. Great Product!

I should have listened to the 20 or more bad reviews for this product but I'm the type of person who likes to try things for myself. Let's just say I bought 2 on a Sunday and returned them that Monday. What was wrong with them??? EVERYTHING!!! When I first got them I turned the radios on and they seemed to work fine. After about a minute I plugged one of them into my computer and after it downloaded what it needed to download I began to put songs on the player. According to the driver I had about 950 MB's worth of space but after about 500 or 600 MB's it said the player was full so what about the other 400 or so MB's worth of space??? After I put what music it would let me put on there I let it charge for about 2 hours which is a pain because you can only charge it through the computer. After 2 hours I decided to test out listening to music on it besides the radio. While I did that I put music on the other one. After about 2 songs it cut off and never came back on. I even went to the manufacturer's website and did what it said do but nothing happened. The second one worked for the rest of that day and stopped working after that. I thought it might of been the battery but after having it hooked up to the computer for fours nothing happened. It took forever to download the songs to the player because it kept making my computer (which was working fine before that) freeze up every 2 or 3 songs, so I kept having to restart it which was an even bigger pain. I bought this player because it was cheap and at the moment it was all I could afford. I think the brand is just poor because I've had 2 other Mp3 players in addition to these 2 by them and I've had similar experiences. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR BRAND OF MP3 PLAYERS!!! Just save your money and get a better quality one. You'll be glad you did!!!

Never was able to get Windows media player to recognize it. I am fairly tech savvy and made sure all updates were installed. I followed all instructions and checked the company website to trouble shoot. I tried it with 3 different computers.
IT NEVER WORKED! Taking it back for a refund and to get another brand.
Would have given it 0 stars but that wasn't an option.

Bought the player for my younger sister's twelfth birthday, she's had no problems with it aside from she loves to listen to it and it's battery life is only twelve hours at the most. She has had it for six months the twenty-eighth of this month will be seven.

The set up was straight forward if you have any knowledge about technology there is no problem, the instructions came in both English and Spanish. Love that I didn't need to buy batteries for it, and no cords required when uploading music to the player. Great price and buy. I am considering buying one for myself.

As another rater said "if you can't figure out how to turn it on, you should probably switch back to cassette players".

Only problem that I ever had with it, was the occasional freeze up, but that is to be expected with any mp3 player you can buy, even those high priced ones have issues with freezing...

Pretty decent overall. Kind of strange listing of songs, have to search through tons to get where I want. Scared to download update as one person said it killed theirs. Don't know how all the other folks can't figure out to turn it on and off.. just press buttons if you can't figure it out. At least it isn't [$] like some others. If this is too hard for you, maybe you should go back to the cassette players.

I got this as a gift, and everytime I tried to set it up on my computer or download songs to it Windows Media Player always said no device found. SO i would say that it's extremely hard to set up and the instructions are complicated. If you buy a Mp3 player buy one that's reliable, and not complicated. The reason I say this is because a Mp3 player should be fun and exciting NOT COMPLICATED, STRESSFUL, OR A HEADACHE...

bought it for my 17 year old son's birthday. i love the fact that it is rechargable and no need for batteries. he skateboards all the time and it is tough enough to withstand the crash and burns. other mp3 players usually only last him a month, but we are going on our 3rd month with this one. i would definitely recommend this one. great value for the price.

It's my first MP3 player/radio. Found it very hard to program the fm stations using the given manual. Had to program without the manual. There is nothing about charging the battery - first time charging? how long for each susequent charging? what is the indicator when it's fully charged? There's nothing in the manual about where you secure the neck "ribbon" that holds the mp3 player. VERY POORLY WRITTEN MANUAL - IT'S OF NO USE!!

I didn't want to spend a lot on an iPod, so I took a chance with this unit. I love it ! It works fantastic and has a good sound plus is very user-friendly. I have about 150 songs on mine and play at random order. I can't see why anyone would want more songs when you also have the FM radio tuner with it. If you want an MP3 player without the big price, this is the one for you.

Worked great for about 2 hours, until I tried downloading and installing the software update as recommended by the owner's manual.
After the upgrade, the player would shut off at random times, would not properly be detected as a USB2.0 device, and would fail to turn on about 50% of the time unless the power button was held on for 5-10 seconds.
There is no 'uninstall' or 'rollback' for the update; re-downloading and re-installing the update rendered the unit useless... PC would no longer detect it, no functionality of the unit at all.

Great product for an affordable price, i have no problem downloading the Driver for my Windows 98se Computer, however i wish the USB driver [USB controllers]would've come included on a CD ROM as well some added music "ID3 tag editor" to make sorting out tracks a breeze during playback, after all the product is Awesome!!

 
So easy a caveman could do it !!!!!!!
