Comments about Kyocera Virgin Mobile Wild Card:

I upgraded from the switchback to the Wild Card phone. I loved the switchback because of the style and the keyboard. I bought the Wild Card about 9 months ago. Its a good phone. Dropped it quite a few times. Tough phone. Never broke or anything. The inside keyboard started freezing up about a month ago when i text and I have to take the battery out for a sec and put it back in then it works fine but i can use it when i instant msg with no prob. kinda weird but its okay. It's actually a good phone. The battery lasts about a day. I use it for texting only. If I play games the battery use is not too good. The pic quality is pretty good. Its a pretty good phone all in all. The signal is good but I live in an area where virgin mobile gets good signal.

ok first of all i just wanna say DO NOT EVER BUY THIS PHONE LIKE EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got this phone as a birthday present well just about a week after i had it the screens kept freezing up and it kept saying i had a text message when i really didnt and half tha time i never had signal anywhere at all!and if u dont have any signal then u dont have any time and so after i called virgin mobile they said they would send me a new one so they did and 10 mins after i pulled it out of the box it just stopped working all together so the sent me 2 more cuz this same problem kept happening and they said that it is a very frequent problem and there gonna have a recall on all theese phones so as of right now they are replacing them with the slash (samsung slider) so i have one of them and this phone works just fine and i have signal every where and the battery is great! so if i was u i deff wouldnt get this junk phone lol and i would spend my money on tha slash thru virgin mobile or get a phone thru boostmobile! but as of right now even the virgin mobile ppl will tell u that u are wasting ur money if u buy this phone!

I noticed that after I attached a blue tooth. I could no longer use the microphone to talk without it. I called the company to order another as soon as I attached a blue tooth handset. It did the same thing. The only reason why I bothered to upgrade form the switchback which was already a keyboard phone was beciase of the blue tooth. But after awhile the blue tooth started hurting my ear and I wanted to have the option of using it without the blue tooth. I ended up switching back to the switchback also by virigin mobile.

Cons:
Poor Battery Life
Best Uses:
Texting
Describe Yourself:

Comments about Kyocera Virgin Mobile Wild Card:

The QWERTY keyboard makes texting a lot easier. However, it's easy to hit the "Send" button by accident, causing incomplete texts to be sent.

The microphone and speaker are terrible. I can't understand anyone and they can't understand me. I'm glad I started with the cheapest calling plan, since it does me no good to call anyone anymore.

Comments about Kyocera Virgin Mobile Wild Card:

I've had this phone for cricket wireless, and I thought it was pretty cool so I bought it for virgin mobile. I like the keyboard, makes it easier for texting, that's pretty much how I communicate, and if I have an emergency, then I make a call. If not I wait till 7pm to use the unlimited nights/weekend (I bought this phone with thye 400 minute, unlimited nghts & weekends plan and I added the [$] for unlimitd text,) after having problems with boost unlimited.I like this phone, easy for texting, hasn't dropped a call on me. The only think though, and I saw this also with the cricket model, the camera is not so great, ( I mean it's supposed to be a 1.3 mp, no?) and it's a little bulky. But I don't really mind. The texting feature overweighs those little things.Overall, desent phone for a good price. I recommend it.

Then today my son fell on it and the top half wit the screen complete cracked off basically my life was in that phone. Im saying the part that holds the phone 2gether is very cheap and could of been made thicker for the practical user!

In all reality this phone does what it should. It makes texting a breeze, its modern in form, and Bluetooth capable. The phone is reasonably durable. What phone in history doesn't malfunction or break into pieces when dropped on solid concrete? We are a world of consumers that are never satisfied being that we have unlimited choices. However,I have had this phone almost a year and it does what I need it to. If you're looking for great web surfing capabilities or GPS this isn't for you! If messaging, email and Bluetooth are your necessary concerns you should be undoubtedly satisfied.

july 2008. ringer / speaker very quiet so should buy bluetooth headset. Lots of games under $10. many nice features but very poor extra feature software which makes it an outdated wana-bee phone. Great emergency phone with few calls per month 18cents min = $5-$10 average per month.[$]gets a years minuts prepaid. no month, year contract. cons: useless internet, quiet speaker.it is a nice text msg phone but it cost extra to turn on text or other features. no suprises or hidden charges for usa calls. virgin mobile uses sprint network. no yearly monthly contract or bills. summary: very reasonable basic phone; best price per month.

Comments about Kyocera Virgin Mobile Wild Card:

Admittedly, it's easy to use in class. It's quiet. It's a strong phone, and not a lot of damage occurs when repeatedly dropped.

It's lightweight but bulky when in pockets.

Comments about Kyocera Virgin Mobile Wild Card:

Don't buy this phone! I got this phone in February and I thought it was cool looking and an overall neat phone, BUT I was wrong. You have to pay a dollar to use the internet and you don't even get all the website like the graphics or pictures.
The graphics, camera, internal screen, and a lot more suck! when I get voicemail I have to pay and listen to the voicemail to delete it! The reset button makes old messages come back again! It is very time consuming! I already want a new phone after less than 6 months!

Comments about Kyocera Virgin Mobile Wild Card:

This was my first Virgin Mobil phone, and I absolutely loved everything about it. The one issue is you CAN NOT drop it! It fell out of my pocket and fell on the pavement and from then on the side to open up to the keypad would not fully latch shut so the main screen on the front would stay white unless you pushed it down. Really though, as long as you take care of it, the reception is excellent, there are great options, easy for long calls and texting. Definitely recommend!
